Leading Girl Scout Council Moves to Qbix’s BPaaS Platform for
Finance and Accounting

Macon, GA – November 23, 2016 – Qbix, a leading provider of cloud-based ERP and Business-Process-as-a-Service (BPaaS) solutions, announced that Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia (GSHG) has moved its finance and accounting function onto the Qbix BPaaS platform. The council serves more than 13,000 girls and 6,000 adults in Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia Outsource Accounting to Qbix125 counties in Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama. GSHG chose Qbix over continuing with their on-premises solution as the best fit for the organization’s needs.

Previous Business Challenges Faced by Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia

A recent merger which required the creation of a single financial management system from six distinct operations and plans for organizational growth created challenges for the non-profit Girl Scout council. GSHG needed better tools to manage across a large geographic area and over 80 employees. They also needed more timely and accurate data for reporting and management. Download the full case study.

Reasons for Selecting Qbix

GSHG saw the benefit of Qbix’s BPaaS services on the Intacct ERP platform. Their previous system was a hosted platform solution that was limited to after-the-fact reporting and required significant expertise for report generation. The council wanted a more dynamic solution that would provide online dashboards with real-time information that managers could easily access.

“Working with Qbix and the Intacct platform allows us to access the data that our staff need to make informed budgetary decisions in real-time,” said Sue Else, Chief Executive Officer at Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia. “Because Qbix and Intacct will scale with us, we will be able to grow without adding staff. Qbix has done an outstanding job implementing the service and allowing us to productively move forward.”

Now Qbix and Intacct provide GSHG’s management team with real-time insight into the organization’s financial and operations picture via custom reports and dashboards that are accessible at any time from any where on any device.

Qbix’s shared services BPaaS model provides Girl Scouts with specialization and expertise across the financial and accounting function, as well as scalability when transaction volumes increase or decrease.
