Journey to the Cloud – Qbix Accounting Solutions Beginnings with Sage Intacct Accountants Program

How we got started with the Sage Intacct Accountants Program

We started in Macon, GA in 2008. Our goal was to be an outsourced CPA firm. We started with some audits and tax returns. Over the years, we disposed of the audits and tax returns and became solely outsourced accounting.

We got into the Intacct Accountants Program through the CPA.com folks, they introduced us to it. We have always wanted to have cloud-based solutions.

What the customer can expect with Sage Intacct and Qbix

Our customers expect a lot of us. We are heavily involved with all our clients and in many of the cases we enter all their payables, very involved in the data entry of their receivables, we close their books at the end of the month. They have unlimited access to us through our agreement. So we get calls from the ED or multiple people within the organization every day. We’re really an extension of their organization, the way we operate.

Why Qbix Accounting Solutions is a perfect fit for Not-for-Profit organizations

Nonprofits should use Qbix Accounting Solutions because we’re very dedicated to this space – 70% our staff are certified on nonprofit activities with the AICPA and hold certifications in that. In addition to that the same 70% of our staff are certified accountant specialists with Sage Intacct. We’re very dedicated to it. We’re very knowledgeable. We only work in this space.

Journey to the Cloud – Qbix Accounting Solutions Beginnings with Sage Intacct Accountants Program:  A Success Story with Meals on Wheels

Our most recent success with Sage Intacct is related to a Meals on Wheels organization we picked up four months ago. They were kind of interesting because they were on QuickBooks for Receivables, they were on Abila for their General Ledger and Payroll, and then they had mounds of spreadsheets. How we came to work with them is that their CFO was retiring and I emailed their Executive Director saying they should consider outsourcing. We started converting Meals on Wheels to Intacct and were completely converted in a month and a half. The issues they were having before we began handling their accounting included financial statements being delayed by two or three months. With Qbix and Intacct, financials statements are ready within 15 days. They have now have a better way to monitor their grants as well.
